ED 6300 - Child and Adolescent Development in Education (ED 4300) (3)
The physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children and adolescents will be examined in this course. Motivational and learning theories and theorists will be explored applying theory and research to today’s diverse classroom settings. Students will asked to consider the implications of their decisions regarding appropriate selection of curriculum, teaching strategies, and assessment as they apply to the varied needs of children and adolescents. The graduate-level course requires independent accelerated additional coursework appropriate for the graduate level.
