The Master of Education in Educational Studies is designed for those inviduals who currently hold certification or do not need certification but are seeking a master’s degree in the field of education. This degree will enable participants to expand or gain knowledge of educational/leadership theories and best practices. Individuals will take four education courses and a capstone course to form the core of the degree. Students may choose up to twelve hours from education or other graduate programs for a total of 34–36 hours. The structure of this program is such that individuals may tailor the coursework to their particular needs. Classes are offered in the evening to accomodate work or teaching schedules. This degree will be ideal for someone who works in an educational setting, within a business such as a museum, or someone who is home schooling children.

Students may then choose up to 12 hours from any of the following programs:
Leadership Studies Courses
Communication Sciences and Disorders Courses
Non-Profit Leadership Courses
Business and Management Courses
Education courses
The remaining 11-23 elective hours are fulfilled through any graduate education courses.
lf desired, students could choose a focus area for their twelve elective hours from other programs such as special education, leadership, or curriculum and instruction. The education advisor can help students select their electives to best meet their educational needs.
