Special Undergraduate Academic and Co-Curricular Programs

Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCU)

By special arrangement between Rockhurst University and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCU), College of Osteopathic Medicine, students interested in Osteopathic medicine may obtain early acceptance to these schools of medicine. The student must have an ACT score of 28, and by the beginning of the second year at Rockhurst have both science and overall GPA of 3.5. After an interview, students are selected each year for each program. The selected students transfer to the Medical School after their third year at Rockhurst, and graduate from Rockhurst after their first year of Medical School. The student applies to the program in December of sophomore year; the selections are made the following Spring.
