Provost Fellowships for Research and Creative Activity

Special Undergraduate Academic and Co-Curricular Programs

The Provost Fellowships support research and creative activity by full-time undergraduates in any discipline. Fellowships provide a weekly stipend for a period of five to eight weeks during the summer for students working under the supervision of Rockhurst University faculty mentors. Each fellowship is awarded on the basis of the quality of the proposal, the applicant’s academic record, and the recommendation from the faculty mentor. Research Fellows present their work at the annual Rockhurst Festival of Student Achievement. They are also expected to pursue opportunities to present their work to the larger scholarly community within their disciplines.
