NUR 5720 - Family Nurse Practitioner I: Diagnostics and Intervention Practicum

This course focuses on developing clinical competency with an emphasis on evidenced based practice for adults/older adults in primary care settings. The course integrates theory, assessment, and treatment modalities for acute illness. Students will be expected to successfully complete comprehensive clinical assessments including appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic testing. 100 practicum hours are required.

Prerequisite: NUR 5650 , NUR 5750 , NUR 5950 , NUR 5260 ; Permission from advisor and/or program director required.
Corequisite: NUR 5710 .
