ED 7760 - Literacy Practicum

This course will be oriented around supervised practicum experiences at the early childhood, elementary, middle, secondary, or adult level. Students will gain experience in assessing and remediating learners needing support in literacy acquisition. The course includes a practicum, in which graduate students plan, teach and evaluate the effectiveness of strategy instruction by documenting readers’ progress in literacy development.
Prerequisite: ED 6020 and ED 6700 .
