The Accounting CPA Graduate Certificate * prepares students to be fully engaged to meet the requirements expected by CPA firms and Corporations. It prepares students to meet the significant changes in the CPA exam. This certificate may be completed as a stand-alone certificate, or as one of three *”stackable” certificates that are required to complete the Business Administration, M.B.A.

Required courses (12 credits):

AC 6435 - Advanced Auditing (2)
AC 6440 - Data Analytics and Auditing (2)
AC 6675 - Advanced Tax (2)
AC 6680 - Data Analytics and Tax Research/Analysis (2)
AC 6910 - Advanced Financial Reporting (2)
AC 6920 - Auditing Capstone (2)
or
AC 6930 - Tax Capstone (2)

Note:

An additional course that is recommended for CPA track students is AC 6520 - Advanced Information Systems. This course is not required for this certificate but is offered for students who desire it to prepare them for certification in Information Systems Auditing.
